The beautiful interiors of Castle Levan by Loch Long and the River Clyde are revealed in this episode of Castles of Scotland. We see the magnificent stained-glass windows and painted ceilings of Castle Levan which were influenced by Italian and French fashions of the time. The turrets and towers of Glamis Castle, made famous in Shakespeare's Macbeth, are also visited and glimpse its rich interiors from the dinning room and the crypt to the Queen Mother's childhood bedroom.

This episode of Castles of Scotland focuses on the outstanding artillery fortifications in Fort George near Inverness and the remains of Caerlaverock Castle in the Scottish borders. The Edwardian elegance of Fort George, reminiscent of Edinburgh's New Town, are explored, as we get a glimpse into life at this military fort.

Castles Of Scotland: Series 01 - Episode 05
Castles of Scotland visits Fyvie Castle, one of the finest examples of Scottish Baronial architecture with magnificent interiors and period details including many ornate tapestries and paintings by Sir Henry Raeburn. We also visit Castle Fraser, near the River Don, one of the grandest of the Scottish tower houses built in granite with all the classic details of Baronial architecture.

Castles Of Scotland: Series 01 - Episode 06
Explore Kinloch Castle, on the Isle of Rum, which was built by wealthy playboy George Bulloch from specially chartered red sandstorm from Arran and filled with opulent interiors and gifts from as far as Japan. Castles of Scotland also visits Ayrshire's coastal castle, Culzean, with its beautiful views of the Firth of Clyde and ornamental stonework.
